News for Kinesiology Practitioners and Students

Updated June 2004

What you need to know if you want your courses accepted toward Kinesiology Practitioner Registration:
Australian Institute of Kinesiologists, the Australian Kinesiology Association.

All Instructors listed on this website are authorised to present courses that can be used toward Kinesiology Practitioner Registration. see listings

Updating of Instructors and Assessors:
Students must have taken their courses with Instructors who are up to date to Three in One Concepts' requirements.
They
are assessed by Faculty, Specialised Trainers and Instructors authorised to do so. They are awarded statements of attainment.

Though Three In One Concepts did not have an updating requirement for Facilitators before 1995, it does of all Facilitators since 1995.
In the case of assessments for AIK and AKA, it is a requirement that students take their course with a Facilitator updated to current Three In One Concepts' standards, even if that Facilitator completed training before 1995.
O
ur Code of Ethics states: "I agree to continue my education in order to increase my awareness and my skills. However - and most important - I will use these skills to defuse my own issues."

Three In One Concepts' requires a minimum of 35 hours updating every two years. The requirement includes a 14-hour Up-date with Faculty (or an Advanced Trainer) in every two-year period.

Assessments of courses for Kinesiology Practitioner Registration: Advanced Trainer, Anne Summers, is coordinator for assessments. With Faculty agreement, she authorises assessors of students' training. Having experience in assessing competency based training is an advantage. Those applying to become assessors may phone Anne at 07 5546 3172 or email her: anne@threeinone.com.au
